So Dream Live 5th The 2nd last and the Senshuuraku report! ^__^













It took me over an hour to get to Shin-Yokohama, and over 3 train changes. I went Saturday right from work which is way outside of Tokyo.

I arrived in Kitani station and changed onto the JR Yokohama line and the train was packed, I knew where everyone was going ;). I arrived at the station, asked the Bic Camera guy where the arena was and I was on my way. I didn't have much trouble I just followed the hordes or girls.

I went to the last two showings in Tokyo. So the day before (from my past experience when I try to get goods I now know to go the day before, or during a show that isn't mine for a small line) and I got my goods. I was lucky and arrived just before the show was going to start and had to wait in line only 10 mins. It turns out when I finished getting my goods it had started to rain a bit and there was no one even there any more.

The day I arrived it was a long 2 days for me. Having met up with my Japanese friend and we went to an all night concert and went home changed and met up in Shibuya. Let's say I drank many energy drinks that day. ^^;
At the arena I met up with my friends gave them their tickets and we all went inside. Inside you could purchase a few goods like Pamphlet, mitts and lights. I of course had to buy a light. (since I forget to buy my own ^^;) we went in and found out seats. For the Sunday 2nd show I had row 24 and for the last show I had row 20 which was only 4 rows from the extension stage, 2 seats from the main isle, and what a view.


The beginning was the same usually for all the performances, the ichiinen trio come out to tell the entire do’s and don’t for the performance. First they start off with the introduction of their selves. “Horio desu” “Kachiro desu!” “Mizuno desu!" and Horio's like "Hey! Wait, you're supposed to say Katsuo! That's what we always do!" And once again they do it again, this time Kachiro calls himself Katsuo. (that was the senshuuraku) After the introductions they start reading off the list on the paper saying that you aren’t allowed to eat and please turn off your cell phone as well that you are not allowed to take pictures or record. (During this time Horio is reading and the other two are doing the actions for each do and don’t) At the picture part, this is where Horio goes and stops them saying that they can take pictures…take pictures of him and starts posing until the other two tell him to stop.
Arena was standing but the 3rd floor was sitting. Actually up on the 3rd floor in a special box were old tenimyu members. You can probably guess whom from who posted on their blogs ;)


Then the real performance starts and the music starts to play and on the big screen tv there are the introductions of the actors. They show the pictures on the screen. Next is another video it shows Najiro running through the hall way of the backstage saying he’s late, and almost forgets his racket and when he passes the coffee section he looks at it with longing, but then keeps running and the video ends and he pops up on top of the stage. He goes on saying that this is the DL5th and thanks everyone for coming.



Next Seigaku comes running out and they do a performance of a mix of Aoku Moeru Honoo~Run Run Run~This is the Prince of Tennis~Brand new Seigaku song.

After the song all the Seigaku members do the “How are you doing” kind of moment. Getting the audience to get into high tenision. Taka walks in front of Fuji with his Burning moment and he realizes and just grins at Fuji who grins back.

Next was Rikkai, who sang Oretachi Jisho ni Haiboku wa Nai and Makeru Koto no Urusarenai Ouja After the song they starting talking and they realize that one member is missing. Jackal was missing and during the 2nd last show it was Jackal up in the special booth. He came to watch the performance and during that scene Marui starts talking, and starts getting the audience to yell “FIRE” many time and says something Sanada grabs him on the back of the uniform and drags him away, as he throws him he yells “FIRE” once again. I looked up to the booth while we were yelling “FIRE” and you could see Jackal bouncing up and down in his seat throwing his arms in the air yelling “FIRE” with everyone. Yukimura starts talking and as he goes to talk everyone gathers around his to catch his if he falls. But then proceeds to yell out, but he doesn’t fall.





Sanada then walks up onto the stage extension and everyone is like “What are you doing doing Sanada?” He goes and starts doing stretches. The team is like "Why are you stretching??!" It’s Fuurinkazan! It was full of wonderful hip movements. Luckily, I was 5 rows from that stage and had a close up look at Sanada grinding his hips into the spotlight XD The other Rikkai members would come up in pairs of two to challenge Sanada but he would beat them all. Well scare them away really. Then it was Rokkaku's turn to randomly appear wearing weird headbands and danced down the stage to where Sanada was. Sanada then would hit them and they would bounce and turn around and dance away up to the 2nd floor of the stage and joined the dance. At the end everyone leaves but Sanada and he stands on the stage and bows. He walked down to the main stage and turned around to everyone,bows and says, “Thank you very much!”



Next its Higa’s turn, and on the screen shows Kite laying in a hammock singing and Minami no Shima Kara kitashikaku. Kite gets fed up with waiting for the members and goes into the bedroom to find them all lying asleep on the floor. Then it shows Rin, Chinen, and Kai buried up to their necks in sand and each having weird expressions on their face then Tanishi swimming underwater and when it goes to show his chest it’s blurred out. Since he wears padding under his cloths and you can’t wear it under water XD But then a shark attacks him. The movie ends and on the small stage Higa appears on stage and start singing Dark Horse. Tanishi has a plastic blue shark attached to his arm. At the end of the song they hit tennis balls into the audience. The Higa members signed each ball. Lucky.

Then it’s Fuji on the main stage and walks out to the extension and starts yelling to them, I forget what he said, but then he does a solo, with a duet part in it with Taka, who comes out during the middle and does a small dance routine with him, and has glitter in his hand and throws it up in the air and in the Senshuuraku he bends down on his knee and blows Fuji a kiss. This Fuji is an amazing dancer and does many fancy ballet moves while singing. (During the 2nd last show Fuji’s mic doesn’t work for the first bit and when it was working there was a lot of feedback.) After he finishes singing Saeki comes out and teases Fuji saying that at the end of his song during the high pitch parts he was weak on it. After hearing this he does a most impressive fall onto the stage depressed and lay there. He gets up and walks toward Saeki and while they are talking he puts his hand on Saeki’s shoulder and Saeki does the same back but shoves Fuji. Fuji moves away holding his arm in pain. Then Saeki takes off his jacket and throws it behind him for Fuji to catch and starts singing “Hitoshi yari nokoshita koto”. During his solo the rest of Rokkaku come out and say that they are a team so he can’t just sing alone.



Rokkaku has a talking part, they start talking about how they are missing members and Ryou goes on that he misses his doubles partner. “I am of course a Jimi” and pouts, but then Kentarou goes and says that Saeki is there, so he doesn’t have to worry. Then Ryou asks why Kentarou has a hat on, and that he is the one who wears a hat. He tells him to take it off. Then Kentarou says no Ryou should take it off.
- 2nd last show => Ryou says “I’m your Sempai” and Kentarou goes, “I’m Buchou” and Ryou says sorry and bows to him, and Kentarou grins.
- Senshuuraku => Kentarou says “I’m Buchou” and Ryou says, “I’m your Sempai” so this time Kentarou bows and says sorry and Ryou pets him on this head and says that’s the right thing to do.



Next a flying Tezuka appears in the air. It’s true, he was on a tiny swing thing and he starts singing “Yomigaerishi Mono” as he floats through the air, waving to the audience. He lands on the stage extension and continues to sing. As he finishes singing Kite shows up behind Tezuka, yells “TEZUKA!” and starts to sing “Ore wa Koroshiya to yobareru otoko” while Tezuku just walks and stands on the main stage staring at him. The other Higa members come out wearing Hitman outfits. And dance in the background. Tezuka walks up to the 2nd floor of the stage and Kita goes to dive for a ball but just slides across the stage and lays there. The other members go and grab a stretcher to carry Kite in but when they roll him into it they lift it up and the blanket rips of the poles and they run offstage. Tezuka looks down on Kite with his head tilted to the side in a cute way and say’s “kite…Kite”. Kite wakes up and looks around and rolls back on to his back and flips up onto his feet. He then looks at Tezuka gives him thumbs up and then yells “TEZUKA” once more and runs offstage. Tezuka just looks down at his hand and makes thumbs up and looks at it in confusion.

Next Ryoma comes onto stage with Tezuka and tells him he looks cool. Tezuka asks if he is cool, and Ryoma say’s that he looks “nice” (this was in English) and that he is cool.
Tezuka then tells him “Ike Echizen” which leads into the “Ore ue ni iku yo/Be Cool” solo and has matches against Nanjirou, Sanada, Yukimaru, Tanishi, and Chinen.

After the matches Akutsu comes out and say’s that he heard Echizen beat Sanada, the ichiinen trio show up too. Echizen goes “Who are you?” and the Trio of course tell him to don’t kid around with him. Akutsu then does “Ore Ni Sashi Suruna” while Echizen just walks by Akutsu and the trio run out onto the stage extension. While singing Akutsu has glitter in a cup and throws up into the air. The trio starts planning who is going to go past Akutsu first. Finally they go up to and katsuo and kachiro get by with no damage Horio goes up all brave and gets hit in the face a few times and thrown away. After the song Oshitari, Kaneda and Ishida appear on the small stage and start talking. They talk about the other members not being there and Oshitari calls out “Gakuto!” and of course the audience screams. Kaneda goes cry over Buchou and Ishida misses Sakurai.
(During this time Akutsu just wanders along the main stage and ends up sitting and just staring at the other 3)
Each performance they choose a team song to sing, and this time they starting to sing the St. Rudolf song "Erabareshi Elite Syuudan” these songs aren’t with music just the 3 singing and they get the audience to sing along. But in the middle Ishida yells stop and says “Wait! I’m not an elite!” And points to the 2 others and asks if they are elite and of course the say they are. So Ishida points at himself and says “elite ja nai” then goes around pointing “elite, elite ELITE JA NAI!” and changing up the order and Oshitari messes up and calls him self “elite ja nai” at one part. Then they keep singing and at the part where “Uketeru” shows up, he yells out “wait” again and say’s that he isn’t “Uketeru” and gets upset over it. Next Kaneda says that Akutsu isn’t elite either and then Akutsu says to Ishida that “you may not be elite, but to the audience you are.” This made everyone freak out and screaming at the cuteness. Ishida was happy after that.

Music starts up again and Rikkai comes through the audience wearing school uniforms. I had Baba, Kento, Sanada, Yukimura pass by me. I was 3 seats from the aisle. Kento saw me. God that kid grew. He is so tall. But they go onto the stage and start to sing “Omaera...gakkepuchi girigiri” and during parts they would flash open their Jackets to show the Rikkai patch on their shirt. At the end they all took of their jackets and put them back on.




“Koko kara...ore-tachi” was performed next by the four guests and Rokkaku. Akutsu did Kaidoh’s part, Kaneda did Fuji’s part, Ishida did Momo’s part, and Oshitari did Taka’s part. Isuki did Ryoma’s, Aoi did Takki’s, Saeki did Tezuku’s. At the end the four guests fall down the stage on their knees breathing hard and talking about sore legs. Saying they are out of practice. Oshitari ends up sitting on the floor when everyone gets up and takes off his glasses while the others are telling him to get up. They all then sing “'Semero, Tsuyoku Nare”

It’s BIKING TIME. I mean Viking time. With pirates. The horn echo’s through the arena and Kai comes out flying through the air wearing pirate wear. The others enter the stage wearing shiny purple pirate wear. Kite is wearing his track pants with a long coat over top and the rest shiny pirate clothing. After the song they go on about why are they dressed as pirate when the song is about Vikings, and they say its cooler. Tanishi gets to fly up in the air to do his Big Bang but gets stuck and needs to have help to get him down.

Now it’s time for my favorite part! Pimpin’ Time! Niou and Yagyuu are dressed up in Pimp OUTFITS! It was made of awesome! They were wearing long feather coats over their uniforms and bling necklaces and Yagyuu was wearing glasses under his sunglasses. Feather boa, and big hats. They perform “Petenshi Da” and do this amazing dance. There was a lot of hiphop moves. Lots of popping and locking. I really am amazed at the level of difficulty. I want to be able to dance like that. One part Yagyuu makes a circle with his hands and slides them down and around Niou in a close embrace kind of way.

After the song they start taking off the Pimp wear and on the main stage enters Eiji and Oishi. Next song is “Golden Pair” It was Eiji/Oishi, Taka/Fuji, Momo/Kaidou, Niou/Yagyuu (on the small stage still), Yanagi/Akaya, Rin/Chinen, Saeki/Itsuki.

Next song was “Juuden Kanryou where Eiji puts on a huge bow around his waist and a headband with a blue feather around his head. I do love this song. They were on the stage extension and since I was close I could a lot of Golden Pair love happening. They kept grinning to each other and Eiji was wonderful. Always with a grin on his face. This pair seems to be a really good Golden Pair. Then on the main stage pops out from underneath Kai, Kentarou and Marui wearing the same as Eiji but in their school colors. And the Ichiinen trio comes out wearing these huge puffy arm sleeves in many colors and start dancing.

The song ends and Momo comes out onto the stage and say’s that he gets to the stage to himself but then Kaidou comes out does “Ore wa Mamushi”.

Then Seigaku come out and do a speech, they introduce Tomo, and everyone is yelling. The new Kaidou say’s that he was so grateful to have Tomo their for him during the performances, and that he learnt a lot from Tomo and he can’t express how much Thanks he can feels. Tomo is starting to look like he was going to cry, biting his lip and then Tezuka goes on saying his thanks to Tomo about how Tomo lead them on and it was his strength that helped them all. Everyone in the audience starts yelling out “ARIGATOU TOMO!” Who looks like he’s going to cry. He then introduces “The Regulars” song, and everyone starts to sing, Taka breaks off at the end of his solo in a sob kind of choke and when it’s Tomo’s part, he had a long part, he can’t sing all of it and starts to cry, the audience goes crazy and then starts singing the part for him. Tomo is able to sing the end part of it.



Sanada and Yukimura come out onto the stage. Sanada is on the small stage and Yukimura is on the main stage extension and start singing "Kimi wo Shinjiteru" and at the e nd Yukimura reaches out his hand towards Sanada who does the same and Yukimura’s coat falls off one shoulder, and he takes it off and walks back down the stage. Nanjirou comes out at the time and Yukimura just stares at him and leaves. Nanjirou goes on about “what was that about huh?” and just goes on about keep on supporting Tenimyu. He talks about that he is exited to plan the next musical. And how it would have been cool to have 4 small stages around so all the teams would be on one and come flying in onto the stages. Crazy guy.

Next scene is Seigaku come out in White outfits, a lot like DL4th, but they were all wearing big blue sparkly flowers. I loved Eiji’s hat again XD This Kaidou was the new one singing.

Next song was “Forward my Men” with the hip movements and all. Seigaku leaves the stage and all the other teams come out and perform “Try Again” and for each part where you say the team’s names it was Higachu Fight, Rikkai Fight, Rokkaku Fight and then for the guests you could pick a random team and yell it out.





Then Seigaku joined the stage and they all did “Reuniou~Heat Up”. After this song the lights went down and everyone did Encore. Seigaku came back out in uniform and they preformed “FGKS” and a bunch of them came out into the audience. Marui and Baba were close to me, and we all sang along. The team members in the audience went through the back way to exit and the lights went down again and everyone did encore a 2nd time and they did “On My Way” where Seigaku members went into the audience. I had all of them go past me. One girl one row ahead kinda got way to over happy and got high fives from some and when Ryoma came she accidentally knocked off his hat. Gah backoff girls.

And it was finished.

I left and made my way out with the hundreds of people.
